design spanning several years and countless hours of work. Such time was spent evenly between research,
development, and writing jokes. At the age of 21, David James graduated from the University of
Staffordshire with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Interactive Entertainment Technology, but it
was prior to this, during his studies, that he meticulously crafted the experience now referred to as
"That thing with the brown joke," or more commonly "DJQuake."
This volume brings together every single comic in the mammoth DJQuake run, spanning three series
and probably as many years. We don't really remember when it started.
